Release Day is Just Around the Corner!

That's right! Except for that whole pesky deadline thing, August 29 has seemed reeeeaaaalllllyyyy far away. Until, um, just now. Because CALLED UP releases on Monday!!!!! So, to build a little excitement:

ONE day from now... You'll begin to see announcements for an incredible group giveaway I'm part of through Instafreebie. There will be fourteen awesome FREE short stories/novellas/books available, including LAST CALL, my short story intro to Inspiration, Iowa. (Hint: Deke makes a cameo appearance.) So if you haven't had a chance to get a copy of that yet, now you will.

TWO days from now... Well, okay, two days from now I'll be taking a breather in anticipation of a fantastic upcoming couple of weeks and will therefore be hanging out with the fam at the beach. I'll post pictures. :) But I'll also post some specifics about next week's Facebook party. Stay tuned...

• Thanks to Tasty Book Tours, the CALLED UP Blog Tour begins with ten amazing stops on the first day. The tour runs through Friday, September 9, with between six and ten stops every day. I'll post each day's schedule so that you know where to look. And please leave thank you's for the bloggers so that they know their work is appreciated. I thought writing a book was hard...and then I tried to write a thorough, thoughtful review. Holy cow. Hands down, the book was easier.

Facebook Party Jen-Style

 

Because I can't ever go about anything in a straightforward way, for the Facebook Party celebrating the release of CALLING IT (on Monday, April 11, just in case I haven't mentioned that, oh, a billion times already), rather than just have a flat-out party, I decided to go with a theme approach. A theme within a theme, in fact.

There's the baseball aspect, of course, complete with a starting lineup of ten authors (designated hitter included). But then there's also the part where each of those authors represents a specific aspect of my journey to publication. So since we're ten days away from my release date (!!!!!!!!!!), I thought I'd do a ten day countdown on my Facebook page, introducing one guest author per day in the order in which they'll be appearing:
